The UNC School of Medicine will open a Wilmington campus at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
Up to 24 advanced medical students will study all types of specialties and subspecialties at the hospital, which is already classified as a teaching hospital. NHRMC received $9.7 million in graduate medical education funding in 2013.
