Video games have received a bad rap for their effects on a person’s cognitive functioning, waistline, attention span and tendencies to violence.
But the right kinds of games can actually have a positive effect, says a professor and researcher from the UC-San Francisco. Dr. Adam Gazzaley will share his research in Portland on Monday.
