Ascension Health is closing its Alexian Brothers Community Services facility in south St. Louis after it was forced to suspend enrollment there last fall.
By April 30, 101 employees will lose their jobs when the facility, at 3900 S. Grand Blvd., closes, according to a notice filed with the state of Missouri. Nonprofit Ascension owns the property, which sold for $1.2 million in 1988, according to city records.
